Photo Booth Connected is the latest offering from the team that came up with social booth, the Instagram printer BYO booth and Guest booth. The emphasis in the past has always been on the easy usability which has now included connectivity to a wide range of third party applications. The software creates an option for event photographers and photo booth operators to upload pictures to the internet in addition to localized printing capacity.
The features of Photo Booth Connected reads off as an impressive list that covers most of the popular web applications on the internet. Apart from having the standard emailing options,the software also has options to send photos via SMS and for uploading photos on to social media sites like twitter and facebook – features that are available only in the pro version. The basic software setup gives the user a functionally efficient photo booth management software that makes it easier to manage events like parties and conventions. One feature that will be of essential use for single point control of images is the Eye-Fi support that lets the user import images from devices that have Eye-Fi cards installed. The system is also versatile enough to enable receiving data through a network shared folder, or Eye – Fi or a locally connected SD card.

The system is designed to make the life of event photographer’s a little easier by providing simple . The software will work thorugh a locally available wireless internet connection. The system can also work with 3G or 4G modems when the event happens in an area without wireless connectivity. The software is designed to act as a plug in to existing booth software. This ability to function as a plug in without intruding into existing photobooth softwares can make photo management easier when dealing with numerous images and event attendees.
Photo Booth Connected can be run in an individual system in kiosk mode and enables printing or uploading live at an event. While the kiosk and booth versions are priced the same at 199USD, there is only one difference in the features. The kiosk version runs in any uploadstation and does not perform standalone booth function. This is the only feature difference between the two versions.
The pro version is a class apart altogether and provides options for direct upload to facebook, pinterest, to a separate ftp server, along with instagram style filters and green screen/chroma key removal. With licenses for two machines included in the price of 299USD, the pro version can assist in data collection and surveys.
Even though there is no separate version for macintosh systems, the software runs quite well using bootcamp or parallels. A well rounded software that addresses the requirements for event photography and photo booth management
